Our Story

We're Markus & Philipp.

We used to be explorers, when we were kids. We'd climb trees and rocks, and when on holidays with our families, we'd explore beaches and lakesides and hills and caves, all the while looking for treasure (rocks, seashells and what have you). We'd look at marbles from all sides to see if there was something we'd missed, and we played around with the family TV's antenna, in the hopes of picking up signals from an alien civilisation.

And how we loved to be entertained – afternoons immersed watching cartoons on gigantic cinema screens, eyes agog and mouths agape! Then, later on, we played our first video games, and suddenly we weren't only entertained, but we were at the center of the stage, ready to explore!

Vienna!

We know each other from college, where we both studied media design, and then moved on to Vienna, where we've opened an office on one of the city's busiest shopping streets. It's lively, vibrant, and we feel at home here.

Now we're at the end of our twenties, and with adult responsibilities, some of our activities have become more nuanced – we enjoy Vienna's coffeehouses, small shops and galleries, and we get excited when people come together and work on creative ideas. We enjoy the splendid old architecture that lends the city much of its charm, we've learned how to pick furniture, and even our cooking is getting better.

Summer nights and squirrels

But then, some things haven't changed – we still spend our summer nights outdoors with friends, we love the smell that's in the air in Italy as you approach the sea, and here's a secret: we still chase after squirrels. Oh, and one of these days we're going to build the mother of all tree-houses.

So here's the reason we hope to be able to do this for a bit longer: because you know you grow up so fast.
